And why are you still on the police force when you are suppose to serve and protect, when you are out driving and drinking, but your DUI charge is just pushed under the rug...in another county... needless to say a wife's charge. What is our community coming to?? It is scary to let the children play out when they bring it to your attention that they are afraid that the police man will try to get them into their car.. Shame Shame.. so sad.....
Me: huh? I didn't see you until you turned on your lights.

Pm: it was an "abrupt" stop

"So tonight driving home from Syracuse, I got to a stop sign at a full stop (no rolling stop). Turned right (I was in bfe), then the guy that was stopped in the intersection turned on his police lights and pulled me over. Sneaky sucker He came up to my car and stared at me (Chase was with me) and we starred back. Ummm... why were we pulled over?
Chase: I'm not driving. Why do you need to see it?
Me: (I handed it over)
Pm: shut up and give it to me. (Which he did)
Pm: You shut your mouth. Give me your license (??)
The policeman said: were you going to stop?
Chase: it was a full stop and she didn't do anything wrong.
Pm: no reason. You're free to go.
Shame on you for using your badge and force to intimidate women and children. the badge you wear says POLICE on it not GOD!!!!!

Is this what the PD I grew up with has devolved into? Isn't it supposed to be 'protect AND serve?" Not "Im bored so I'm going to harrass and bully a mother and her son just because I carry a badge and gun!" I'm saddened and disgusted by this attitude! This is a prime example of why the public no longer trusts the police to protect or serve them. You are a public servant, not the Gestapo! Who ever this officer is, should probably not be one! He is a walking liability.
And why do you think you have the right to drive around on police time and find women to follow and stop for no reason????

I'm originally from here and my family have been here many generations or stayed in the county. My mother Tonda Hewitt was a dispatcher til she died in 2002, would have been appalled by this!!! This is from a friend on her interaction with an officer...
